Saturday Tennis Lessons
For Ages 4 - Adults
Outdoor tennis classes for beginners and beginner 2 will be at Lafayette High School tennis courts beginning once a week for five weeks (see schedule below). Mark Platt, USTA Certified Instructor, will lead the tennis instruction using the QuickStart format. Quickstart is a fast, fun, game oriented program that gets kids in the game and keeps them playing and progressing. Specialized equipment including rackets, balls, and nets that are tailored to age and size of the kids is provided. The QuickStart program includes 4 weeks of QuickStart tennis instruction with a QuickStart tournament the 5th week to showcase the students new tennis skills. Tennis equipment will be provided by our instructors (i.e. rackets, balls, nets). Participants provide t-shirts, shorts, gym shoes. Must be minimum age by June 4 for any age group. Registration is limited to 16 students per class. After registering, unless you hear from our office, arrive on the start date and time of your selected class.
Locations/Dates: Lafayette High School, Saturdays, June 5 – July 10 (No class July 3)
Class Times:
Pee Wee (ages 4-6), 9 - 10 a.m.
Beginner 1 (ages 7-11), 10 - 11 a.m.
Beginner 2 (ages 7-11) or Adult, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Fee:
Resident: $60 for first player in family/$55 each additional player in family
Non-resident: $70 for first player in family/$65 each additional player in family
Registration deadline: May 21
Add $10 for all registrations after deadline.
